Insurance is our passion — it’s in our DNA. And we believe that insurance should be easily accessible for everyone. That’s the problem we’re driven to solve.
Our leadership team spent decades working for large national carriers and brokerages trying to simplify the insurance buying process. And after seeing the intrinsic challenges that create barriers between people and insurance firsthand, we are on a new mission to attack the problem from a different perspective.
We see an incredible opportunity to simplify a very complex industry — our team believes insurance decisions should be easy, and that great technology and design are the key to making that possible.
Sally is the chief visionary, growth officer, insurance geek, and cheerleader at Wellthie. She spends most of her time listening to customers, envisioning new ideas, and building the best team. She envisions a future world where purchasing insurance is a satisfying and confident experience.
Prior to starting Wellthie, Sally spent close to a decade as an executive at Anthem BlueCross BlueShield where she led product development and launched large enterprise initiatives across the country. With a builder’s DNA, Sally spent the first decade of her career wearing business development, marketing, and product hats at successful start-ups like Medscape and another insurance start-up Healthmarkets.
Sally received her MBA from the Wharton School’s Health Care Management program where is an active alumna and mentor. She received her B.S. in Management magna cum laude from the Stern School of Business of New York University.

In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Angela works to bring the many facets of Wellthie and our partners together to modernize the insurance buying and selling experience. She is painfully familiar with the struggles of an antiquated quoting process, and is passionate about changing the world of insurance so the days of manual spreadsheets and 4th quarter hassles can come to an end. She hopes to change the way people view the world of insurance by broadening their technological horizons through one customer relationship at a time.
Angela has over 17 years of experience with both insurance brokers and carriers. She worked as a manager at Unum in National Accounts and within their RFP department. She was most recently at IBX as the AVP of Operations with an emphasis on Strategic Development and Implementation.
Angela graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
When Angela is not impacting the world of insurance she is impacting the world of the children who call her mom. She also enjoys hiking in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee with her college sweetheart.
Jeff has spent the last 20+ years as a finance executive, entrepreneur, and investor. As a brother of two health insurance brokers, Jeff immediately appreciated the value of Wellthie and joined the team.
